Almost everyone in this world likes to have a good income source or more generally speaking - everybody wants to earn money. Considering current competition and today's internet market, its a dream of every young kid or teenager to make massive amount of income at his/her early age so that he or she can live his dream life full of materialized things based on his/her likings. Its been a great honor for me to state this sentence that (Thanks to God) that I am among those who actually succeeded in achieving this target and fulfilling my passion. But what actually got me into this and what's the steps I taken to fulfill my dream goals. Its all just start after passing my secondary school examination (here it is called SSC Certificate). Its been a great honor for me to state this sentence that (Thanks to God) that I am among those who actually succeeded in achieving this target and fulfilling my passion.
But what actually got me into this and what's the steps I taken to fulfill my dream goals.
Its all just start after passing my secondary school examination (here it is called SSC Certificate). I was a huge shy guy who doesn't even talk to girls (sometimes even to boys). They just keep made fun of me and I laugh at them. Laughing...Well when I passed class 10th, I decided to make all the ideas come into action that I couldn't fulfill at my school days.
My mom talked to my tutor for hiring me as a helper or junior tutor during his coaching hours. Fortunately, my tutor considered me intelligent and smart enough that he actually hired me as a junior level teacher/tutor in his coaching and from here a complete 'new' me had begun which take me to the another level of me from zero confidence to hero confidence.
Well, teaching primary and secondary kids/teenagers was a really good and fun experience. It actually gave me wings to make the more better version of me. I was studying in the same coaching center where I was teaching too. So, its a pretty hard and tough experience to manage all the tasks and activities during on and off coaching timings. Some how I managed to earn a pretty good amount in my savings throughout the annual. At that time, I bought some of the essential tools and equipment which I needed at that time with so much eagerness while I also saved some of my money so that I can buy other things later on.
Almost teaching for 3 years give me a real hands on experience of market level jobs and earnings. But, one thing which I realized was that - you are paid less while you are working more. This thing actually disturbed me a lot and it took time for me to realize that this world is cruel. They always cheat you like a servant so that's why holding your moral values and skills market is actually your right. It ain't wrong to ask for pay before and after the date. Just because I was working more and paid less, I decided to not to pickup this earning path again in my life and move onto something other that would reflect my knowledge, skills and creativity.
After successfully passing my first year examination (HSC-I) with low grades (not much low but quite below my expectation tbh as compare to the foolish hardwork I did), I was so dishearten about my goals, expectations and career. Only one thing I realized to myself that nothing has been disturbed yet everything can be settled as I want. The only thing which I need to work on is to ready myself for something bigger that no one has actually done yet and in this hustle I somehow managed to start my career before enrolling into any University (Thanks to God). One thing that was in my mind is that, 'Why I should be dependent upon any University or institution for teaching me my childhood dream i.e. Computer Science. Considering this, I accidentally searched on google from 'free Computer Science courses' and it shocked when I noticed that there is a free course named as CS50 offered by 'Harvard University' on Computer Science and Programming. Thinking anything further, I enrolled in this course and started my own journey towards becoming a Computer Scientist. It took me almost a year to finish this 9 weeks course with tons of practices and different approaches. During this period, I was also trying to unlock other doors of earnings. I also did a freelance graphic designing and content managing job at a apparel/clothing page named as 'M&A Brands' on Facebook.
CS50 (Harvard University) course almost taught me everything related to Computer Science and programming. It made me smart enough to persue any career path in coding and programming journey. But as a newbie programmer, I was confused and tried practicing and doing different things. I somehow managed to make contacts and references through different communities and groups. After a long period of searching and asking, I got an international client who asked me to redesigned his existing site. I did this work and earned approx. (30k PKR). Although this work had been done in very hard times and experience but Thanks to God who helped me completing this big project. The site was actually for the same course (CS50) students to provide them free or paid tutor services when they get stuck around a problem and to help them. In this way, I can say that CS50 helped me and I helped CS50 (nice combination!) HAHAHA.
Except this, I also did couple of other work and projects from the same client related to content writing and other stuffs.
Concluding, summing up all the income generated from all the offline and online sources I earned 100K+ PKR within this short span of time. To be honest when I entered the market, things go sometimes so wrong and worse which dishearten me a lot and sometimes went so good which made me confident. Summarizing all these past experiences, its just a part of the game of life which everyone has to play while some of them are already playing.
One note to me and others is that never try to do anything thing with so much perfection and attention. It ain't good for your mind and body. As humans we make mistakes and we keep making mistakes. Keep your work simple and a little bit of stupid. Just keep doing hardwork and you would definitely be succeeded in achieving your goals.
Within all the above sayings, I would also like to pay a big thanks to my parents and sister who helped me bear through tough times. Considering all these, I am now aiming towards something more bigger and better not for me but for the whole community. Just keep hustling.
And.
